German Republic (1931 - 1933)

In 1931 a new value was added to the presidents series.

A new value was also added to the Zeppelin series.

In 1931, the Zeppelin made a voyage to the North Pole.

Welfare stamps, the Opera in Dresden, City Hall in Breslau, the castle in Heidelberg and the Holstengate in Lübeck.

The same stamps, overprinted with new values and new surcharge.

The last of the president’s series.
