In the summer of 2001 I went to Italy with
Ilona. We mainly went to Tuscany and Umbria, starting in Florence. On the
left Santa Croce and on the tight Palazzo Vecchio. |

Three landmarks, Neptune by Michelangelo,
the Galleria degli Uffizi and the tower of the Duomo |

Sienna is an other famous city with it’s
striped Duomo and the Piazza del Campo. This square is transformed into a
horse race track twice a year to host the Palio di Siena. |

San Gimignano is the first city with
Skyscrapers. The higher the tower the richer the owner. |
Assisi is the city where St. Francis
preached. After Rome, it is the second most visited pilgrimage town in Italy |

San Marino is a small independent country
surrounded by Italy. It is located by in the mountains and is mainly a tax
free shopping paradise. |
