 --The Quest for the big five--

We started this holiday in Mombasa in Neptune Beach Hotel

We visited the city, Haller Park, which is a old cement quarry turned into a mini safari park and got ourselves soaked looking for dolphins.

The first park we visited was Tsavo East National Park, one of the biggest parks in Kenya and famous for it’s “red” elephants.

Next was Tsavo West National Park, where we had a very nice lodge and Hippo’s passing between the cottages at night.

In Amboseli, at the foot of the Kilimanjaro, we saw a hyena with cubs.

At Lake Nakuru, we only had little time, but we managed to see both a Rhino with a calf and a Leopard

Relaxing en route to Masai Mara

In Masai Mara we saw the trek of the Wildebeasts, millions of them migrate to fresh pastures and with them hundreds of preditors.
