2009
Apart from the usual trips, in 2009 I went
to Dubai and Uganda. |

Dubai |

Dubai is a place where everything is bigger.
The highest skyscraper, the biggest shopping mall, but also flooded streets
in case of rain as there is no drainage system. There are hardly any old
buildings. The locals hardly work, they act as sponsors of businesses.
Europeans do much of the senior management, Indians the middle management and
other Asians do the low level jobs. |
