2010

2010 was a year with some nice trips. I was in Ekatarinenburg and Sterlitamak in Russia, Wuhan and Beijing in China and I took a couple of hours to visit the British Museum in London.

Ekatarinenburg

Ekatarinenburg is a city on the border between Europe and Asia. It is the city where the Romanovs, the last Tsar of Russia and his family where shot by the communists. On that spot a church has been build.

China

China is one of the places I had on my wish list, probably because of growing up in Taiwan. I spend a week working in Wuhan and a weekend in Beijing. This turned out to be a bit longer as the volcano eruption in Iceland delayed my return trip.

Sterlitamak

Sterlitamak is an industrial town in the Central South of Russia. It’s main attractions are a few strange hills not far from the city.
